The Nature Connection is excited to partner with Western Slope SUP to promote their River Guide Certification Program. Please visit the Western Slope SUP website for full internship description and how to apply.
Upon completion of this training and required river hours, trainees will be eligible to receive a Colorado River Guide License and will also be eligible for hire with Western Slope SUP.
The Nature Connection will sponsor 2 youth from our community to participate in this program (refundable deposit still required.) Upon completion of all required trainings, deposit will be refunded and intern will be eligible for hire by Western Slope SUP.
Requirements:
- Age 18 by July 2023
- Available for all training dates
- $250 deposit (refunded upon completion of internship)
- CPR/Wilderness First Aid certification (class available through Nature Connection)
