Summary: Manage the Nature Connection’s social media accounts to take a post pictures and videos to build our following and grow our audience among a diversity of user groups. Brainstorm new and unique ideas for photography and video projects while building your marketing skills.
-Create photo and video content while attending summer camps and family events during the summer
-Help Nature Connection promote and communicate events and programs to our community during the summer months
-Provide Nature Connection with consistent posts that engage and grow our audiences
-Transportation to and from program locations (Delta, Cedaredge, Hotchkiss) required over summer to compile content
Internship Location: Varies; part of internship can be remote, but access to computer required
Pathways Opportunity: 1-2 available internships
Paid Internship: ~$100-150/week stipend, depending on experience and hours completed; June through mid-August. Free outdoor gear use available during internship (SUP, mountain bikes, camping equipment.) Potential to continue during school year.
Qualifications: Enthusiasm for creating outdoor, kid friendly photo/video content; Current high school student; transportation to program locations required
