Camping and Backpacking Gear at Nature Connection
A family camping/backpacking gear kit is $25/per person per week. A la carte pricing may be available if you only need a few things. See below for more details.
Snowshoes at Cedaredge Library
Check out Snowshoes from the Cedaredge Public Library with your library card. Snowshoe lending period is a full week and you can check out up to 6 pairs per account. Suggested donation of $10/pair.
Wilder Ski Season Share at Nature Connection
Borrow cross-country ski set (skis, boots, poles) for December-March. Check Family Events for more information when ski sharing opens. Lending for just the holiday break also available.
Stand Up Paddle Boarding at Sweitzer Lake State Park
We provide SUPS, PFDs (lifejackets) and paddles at Sweitzer Lake State Park on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays June-August. Suggested donation is $10/SUP
Strider Bikes at Delta County Libraries
Striders are pedal-less bikes great for learning balance. Each Delta County Library has striders to check out for three week period with your library card. Suggested donation of $10/strider.
Disc Golf sets at Delta County Libraries
Disc Golf sets are available for check out from the Delta and Hotchkiss Libraries. Each set includes a driver, mid-range, and putter discs. Enjoy the Flying Miners Disc Golf course at the Delta County Fairgrounds in Hotchkiss or the Confluence Park or Tamarac Park courses in Delta.

Gear lending is subject to availability. Priority will be given to gear requests at least 2+ weeks in advance. We will get back to you to let you know if the gear is available for your trip dates.
